The Person I Admired

Mr. Wang is one of my neighbors. He stroke two years ago. He could not move his right arm and his right leg.He had to lie in bed. But he never gave up. He did exercises everyday according to doctors advise. Then, after one year he was getting better and better. He could stood up, but he still could hardly walk. Now I often see him sitting on his wheelchair around the yard or the parking lot in our apartment. He always smiling and says "Hello" to us whenever he meet us. He always try to do what he can do. I admired him. His confidence and kindness touch me so much. I am healthy and strong . I can do everything I want to do. I should be thankful. I should be happy and enjoy the everyday that God gives me.

A Wedding Reception

This Spring my niece Anna got married. Her parents held a great reception. The hall was beautifully decorated. About 200 guests attended, sitting at 20 tables. Anna and her groom stood in the front. First, Anna`s father gave a talk,expressing his happiness and giving a blessing to the new couple. Next , the bride and the groom cut a big cake and the band played loud music. Everyone Applauded. After that, all of the guests started to enjoy the delicious food. At the same time the bride and groom came to each table to toast the guests and everyone said "Congratulations!" to them. Finally the dinner ended. The new couple stood at the door and said Good-bye to the guests. All of us had a good time at the day.

Interiew A Classmate

Yan-Shung Li is one of my classmates. She came from China 6 years ago. She has been married and she have a sun aged five. She is a part-time piano teacher, at the same ti me, she teaches singing. She said she like to live here. She want to have her own concert in five years. She want to take good care of her family, raises her child and supports her husband. She hopes her husband will be more successful in his companey. She want to have a better life in the U.S..

Coming back to shool

I`m glad that I came back to school again. Last year I studyed in Mr. Coburn`s class. It`s a so nice and unforgettable memory. I didn`t continue my study becouse of my listening. I have great difficulties in spoken English. I`m afraid I will be unable to catch up with the course of Level 6. So I stopped studying in February. Now I`ve entered Summer School and I`ve enrolled " Distance Learning". Meeting with teachers and students I feel very happy and exciting. I like learning English. L want very much to improve my listening and speaking . I think I shouldn`t give up. I have to speak and practice more. I wish one day I could communicate with other people in English. It`s my dream.

What do you want to learn in Computer lab?

What do I want to learn in computer lab? I want to learn how to use computer. I want to learn how to search, how to contact with others, how to make greeting cards,how to deal with the pictures I `ve taken, how to....Many many thinhs I want to learn. Computer is so wonderful so difficut to control. Can I know more about comprter? It`s a guestion.

Dear Mike,
I`m glad to hear that you will come. We haven`t met together for a long time. How are you?
I`m happy and busy recently. I practice my piano two hours every day and there are many kinds of music lessons arranged. All this week is Mozart Festival. We `ll have a Mozart Piano Concert at 8:00 p.m. on 6th,Tuesday, Wednesday 3:00-5:00, Orchestra Rehearsal, Thursday 8:00 p.m. Mozart with Moscow Chamber Orchestra, and on Saturday(the 10th) 3:00p.m. there is a 17th Century Music. Welcome to join us!

What I Am Thankful f For ?

I immigrated to the United States from China 11 years ago. Living in the country with liberty and justice I feel happy and peaceful. I had had a part-time work for 10 years. Last year I retired. Then I have more time to enjoy my life, doing exercises, going on travels and studying what I am interested in. To my great joy, this autumn I entered this Adult School to study English again. Our teacher, Wr.Coburn, is a wonderful teacher. He is so kind and patient. His classes are always active and interesting. I have learned a lot of things and have a good time in my English class every morning. I thank God for my life. I`m so thankful for everything he gives me!
